This is not the first time the Redbull Air Race held in Perth. It is a worldwide event, and it is fun to watch. I was in the event for the weekend. A friend had my camera for the first day and I had no way to take it back at the day so I didn't really take much shots on the first day.



I was however, had a couple of nice shots on the second day. The event attracted quite a lot of people along the Swam river, even under the super sunny day. Unfortunately, there was really nothing new to talk about since last one. hehe..

Show? What show? Perth Royal Show is on every year held at Claremont Showground. Nothing so special here. I have been in Perth for the past 9 years and I can't even remember how many did I go, 3 perhaps 4? There is really just a play ground with games and fun fair events with toys and show bags as the main attraction every year (trust me that don't change much). Apart from the games which you need to pay for, there is also an entrance fees, which if I am not mistakem, costs me $22. That is why I decided to stay for the whole day to make good use of the time for photographing.



So I spent the good 10 hours+ in the showground until the end of the day with the lovely fireworks at around 9pm this year. So that next year, when my sister is here, I will not bring my camera and just enjoy the shows....

QUIT Targa West Tarmac Rally and APEC? are on coming weekend. It would be quite interesting to see which is more excited.



To me, the most excited moment is now. Just install the Nokia Smart2go map software on my N70, also download the free maps for Australia and Malaysia using the map loader software. Quite impressive to see that the phone is talking to the GPS module flawlessly.

The thing though, just like the gps map in N95, it only show your location and preplan your journey, you will need to pay and subscribe the services to use the real time routing, rerouting and turn by turn speech features of the software.

I also found a couple of free mapping software. For example, Mobile GMaps and amAze which like the search function of the Smart2go software, requires live internet access to function. Well, a bit disappointed on this.

Another bit that was disappointed was that the Malaysia map doesn't include the streets detail of my home town, yet!? I wasn't able to browse the street for it, maybe I was expecting too much for something that is next to paying nothing.
