To some of the youngster Upperstar KK/Damai is one of popular choice to gather and have a few drinks. My lovely brother happens to be one of them. :/

This year there is a new shopping mall in Kota Kinabalu. One Borneo that is. This is the so call "largest" shopping mall opened in KK to date.

I am quite conservative about the largest part but it is definately the only shopping centre that has the look and feel of some of the shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur or even in Singapore.

The constructions are still on going, as you can imagine, some of the future attractions like underwater world, condominium and so are still yet exist in the view. If you happen to drive pass the complex you will notice it is not completed (see the shot in my friend car on the way to 1Borneo). BUT, greatfully, for the first time, people in Kota Kinabalu can enjoy a modern shopping centre (due to the investor injected lots of $$ for promotion and decoration).

Other then having big meals and visit those "recreation club" a few times with my relatives from Singapore and Canada I finally had a chance to experience something difference. A not so difficult 4WD trip to Kasih Sayang Resort.

We depart from my house with 2 4WD, a Suzuki Trooper and a Toyota Hilux. I am not sure about the others but I was having fun in the ride. The trip was not too bad, though lots of holes and unpaved surface on the way. We then arrived at a place with a nice Kota Kinabalu view.
